Are you weary? Come. You can give all your heavy burdens to Jesus: Meditations from Matthew 11:28, 29

Come to Me
Hello, dear one. It's Me, Jesus. You are weary, my little one. My precious, you are so burdened down! I am ready to take your burdens and give you rest. Be yoked together with Me! Share My yoke. I am stronger than you. I am wiser than you. I will carry the burden as you walk together with Me. Your walk will be easy because I am bearing the weight of the load. Just rest. And walk. I will guide you. And you will learn My secrets.
My precious, if you hear harsh words spoken in your ear, they are not from Me. I am gentle. I will never put you down or criticize you. Although I Am the Creator, I have made myself Human, too. Therefore, I am humble, not a tyrant or a dictator. It is My joy to carry your burden for you so your soul can rest. If you find that things are too hard, check to see whose yoke you are under, because My yoke is easy. If you find your burden is heavy and you are struggling under the load, you don't have to. The only burden you have to carry is Mine, and you will be amazed at how unencumbering it really is! So My precious, just pry your little fingers free of all the hard things you have brought with you to this point. Go ahead. Lay them down. Get ready. Your life, your true life, abundant life, is about to begin!
(I wrote this a little over a year ago. I like to write down my prayers to God and then write down the words that come to mind as His answer to Me. I hesitate to say, "God said," or to claim that I am speaking His very words, but I do believe these ruminations capture the heart of God toward His children and that others will be blessed by reading them.)
